Welcome to the Sugar Hill Library! Our goal is to enable all patrons to become lifelong learners and forward-thinkers, effective users of ideas and information, responsible digital citizens, and passionate readers.

Hours
8:30 am - 2:30 pm daily
Check Outs
Grades K-1: one book
Grades 2-5: two books
* Students have an opportunity to earn an extra book at checkout for summer reading, appropriate library behavior, trivia winners, etc.
Book Fairs
The Library sponsors two Book Fairs each school year. One fair is held in the fall and the other in the spring.
Dr. Carrie Doker - School Librarian
This is my 29th year at Sugar Hill Elementary School. Before becoming the School Librarian, I taught kindergarten, second, and fourth grades. My favorite parts of being in the Library are helping students discover new interests in books, watching the confidence of reading grow in our students, and finding ways to make their visits to the School Library meaningful. It's a great year to be a Longhorn Reader!
Mrs. Melissa Bowman - Library Media Clerk
This is my first year serving as the Library Media Clerk at Sugar Hill Elementary, but Sugar Hill has been a special part of my family's story for many years. As a longtime Lanier Cluster parent, I have had four children attend Sugar Hill Elementary and have spent countless hours volunteering at the school. I love being part of a community that values learning, relationships, and student success.
